Direct Care Specialists 

We are currently seeking Part-time & Full-time Compassionate Direct Care Specialists. You will provide ongoing support to our individuals in their homes and/or the community. Our specialist provides supervision, training, companionship, behavioral support and other duties as deemed necessary by the individual or the individuals’ circle of support.

We currently have job openings 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts.

The successful Direct Care Specialist must be reliable, energetic, flexible, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and be a positive role model for The Waldon Group’s clientele.

Qualification Include:

· A high school diploma or equivalent.

· A minimum of one year experience with adults who have developmental disabilities (or similar experience), is strongly preferred.

· Eight-hour New Provider Training (MUI Training).

· First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration Certification.

· Position requires an Ohio driver’s license, a good driving record, and a registered and insured vehicle.

· Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) or FBI checks.
